
Marshall Ginn is a long-time resident of the Washington, DC area. In his full-time professional work he is in nonprofit philanthropy, which has been his primary career for more than 30 years. Marshall began painting in 2006, taking classes at the Arlington Artists Alliance then subsequently at the Art League School at the Torpedo Factory in Alexandria. Marshall goes to Maine every summer, which is where he derives the inspiration for most of his paintings. He is an active volunteer with Friends of Acadia on Mount Desert Island, and he donates a painting each year for their gala in August. He is an active member of the Arlington Artists Alliance, and his work has been seen in several of their recent shows. This past summer, Marshall was invited to participate with a group of plein air artists for the Art in the Park event sponsored by the Shenandoah National Park Trust. Marshall lives in Arlington, VA
